Mid April 2007, Bouygues UK handed over the Ken Stimpson Community School New Build, the works have been ongoing since March 2006 when construction first started to produce the extension for the school. The extension will provide the staff and students with a new light, spacious assembly hall, science laboratories and many new teaching classrooms.
Site Manager, Nick Austin and his team have worked extremely hard to provide the new facilities for the school. After a day of decanting from existing buildings into the New Build, both staff and students are now settling in to their new surroundings and can start to make the most of the new facilities.
