She last visited the site in July and commented “I find the speed and efficiency with which Bouygues is building the school very impressive and I am very excited about the design and opportunities which will be available to the pupils.” Catherine was joined by fellow Parent School Governor Sabrina Lawson, Allison Sunley PCC Head of School Children’s Services, Hugh Howe Voyager Head Teacher & Wayne Morris Director of Business & Administration.
Even the torrential down pouring of rain did not dampen the party’s spirits. The governors were really impressed with the progression of works as Hugh Howe advised them of the plans for each room.
With 60% of the structural works completed the building is really taking shape and many changes can be seen every week. Everyone agreed Hugh Howe’s office right by the entrance to the school was an excellent position and felt the ‘Devotional room’ would be a very special peaceful and quiet place.
